DANCE AT OPIKI.
There was a large attendance at the Labour ball held at Opiki on Thursday. Mr Baker, of Palmerston North, sang “Among My Souvenirs,” and after an encore ho pleased by singing “Drummer Bov.”

Murray, black satin; Mrs R. Black, blue satin crcpo (all Palmerston North). From Fox ton, Misses AI. Marriott, navy and white satin ; B. Fenwick, pink georgette ; L Hansen, brown taffeta. From Tokomaru Misses 0. Wilton, red georgette; At. Sherlock, red windswept satin; M. Morgan, pink crepe-de-cliine; R. Free, figured taffeta; P. Wilton, floral taffeta; B. Sherlock, red organdie; McNeil, blue satin; Mrs R. Osborne, red satin. From Linton, Miss M. Carr, brown crepe; Mrs S. Dunshea, plaid satin ; Mrs Hanson, floral marocain. Miss M. Thompson (Milson), black velvet and lace; Mrs Birch (Shannon), blue floral silk crepe; blisses R. Young, red taffeta : N. Alve, satin boaute: M. Marriott, oink georgette ; J. Young, satin heaute; M. Alve, pink satin; Mrs Cook, black ninon and lace; Airs Simpson, black satin; Mrs Wright, green orepo-dc-chine; Airs C. Alarriott, satin beanie (all Opiki). The Monte Carlo waltz was won by ATrs I’arr and Air Brace, the Lucky Gay Gordons by Aliss B. Corlett and Mrs Parr, and the lucky spot went to Air Tregill.
