It is no small achievement, for members of the Palmerston North Little Theatre Society to have written plays of a quality to provide the programme for the opening night of the 1959 season, which will be marked to-morrow night, at. All Saints' Parish Hall. “This Is the Maori Boy,” by Miss Coyla Cairns, is based on a true incident. By contrast “Eves of Destiny,” by Mr S. Bra-dfiold provides an unusual analytical treatment of human behaviour, while, the third presentation, “The Silver Flagon,” by Miss P. Harman, based on an ancient legend, exploits the theme of intrigue.
