DEMAND FOR WOOL
PRICES HOLD FIRM. LONDON SALE RATES. DOMINION DISPOSALS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received March 29, 12.15 p.m. LONDON, March 28. Wool prices continue firm and most satisfactory under the prevailing' market conditions. The home trade is supporting crossbreds well, and a firm close for the London sales is clearly indicated. At the sales 8771 hales were offered, including 3718 from New Zealand, and 7793 were sold. There was a poor selection, but it met with active competition . Russia operated moderately for New Zealand crossbreds. Values were generally well maintained.
