KING CAROL PETITIONED.
NEW GOVERNMENT DEMANDED. BUCHAREST, March 28. Thirty-three ex-Mim'sters, including the former Premiers, M. Maniu and M. Micescu, sent a memorandum to King Carol to-day demanding the end of the one-party system in the interests of national unity. The signatories declare that King Carol recently assumed too much responsibility and authority, and demand the establishment of a “Government of national unity and national faith,” having direct contact with the people.
