GUIDERS MEET.
AIISS E. HELSBY FARE WELLED. Aliss E. Holsbv, Brown Owl of St. Paul’s pack, who leaves to-night on transfer to Taihape, was farewelled at the monthly meeting of Guiders of the Palmerston North district, which was held on Alonday evening at the residence of the District Commissioner (Airs G. A. Eliott). After the business had been dealt with, Aliss Lorna Davis, District Captain, organised an enjoyable treasure hunt. Supper was served, after which Airs Eliott asked Aliss Helsby to accept with the good wishes of Guiders and members of the executive a crystal powder bowl in token of her services to Guiding. Aliss Helsby, returned thanks, wishing all companies and packs success with their Guiding activities.
