SLOVAK ATTACK
HUNGARIAN BATTERY SILENCED RECONCILIATION PLEA. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received March 29, 11.110 a.m BUDAPEST, March 28. Slovakian artillery bombarded Bunkos, destroying two houses and killing one Hungarian soldier. The bombardment also silenced an Hungarian battery. Yesterday the Slovaks bombarded Kiskclon, killing one and seriously wounding another soldier. ■ The Hungarian Press, nevertheless, is pleading for reconciliation with Slovakia. SLOVAK-HUNGARIAN DEADLOCK. Received March 29. 10.5 a.m. BUDAPEST, March 28. A Gix million sterling loan has been floated for army equipment. Nine spies, including a German, have been sentenced to periods varying from three to twelve years. The Slovak-11 unpu'ian negotiations have been suspended and the Slovaks have returned to Bratislava, declaring they were unable to accept the Hungarian proposals without consultation. It is understood tho atmosphere is not promising.
