(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, March 27.
A shop day for carnival funds was very successful. The carnival dance was ako a success.
Harvest festival services were held at the Anglican Churches throughout the district yesterday, and were well attended. Mr L. G. Lowry, M.P.. is visiting the West Coast (South Island). Mr and Airs J, Fielding, with Air and Mrs R. Fielding and daughter, have returnod from a motor trip of the north. At the howling tournament at Otaki Railway Niesen’s rink from Pctone won the trophy. In a match for the Webster Rose Bowl at Levin, the Otaki Railway Club suffered defeat.
