MARTON, March 27. Mrs 0. Goebel has Mr and Mrs .T. McGregor, of Murchison, as her guests. Under the conductorship of Lieutenant C. Pike, the Palmerston North Garrison Band rendered selections in Marton Park yesterday afternoon. Items presented at a concert in the evening were: “Knight of the Road,” “Pax Dei,” “Raymond,” euphonium solo, “The Brigadier” (soloist, Bandmaster H. Guthrie), “Panorama of Famous Songs,” “The Bullfighter.” The vocalists were Mrs L. Smith and Mr P. Flannigan, the specialist Mr L. Smith, and the ventriloquist Mr C* Ljunu
