POLO BALL.
DEBUTANTES AT FEILDING. There wore five debutantes at the Polo Ball in the Drill Hall, Fcilding, on Friday night, organised by the Rangitikei and Taihape Clubs. M iss Peggy Baker, daughter of Airs Ilyn Baker, of Feilding. wore white crinkled georgette softly shirred on the bodice and at the hipline. She wore a white fur evening coat, and carried a posy of white asters and lilies.
Aliss Patricia Fowler’s picture frock was of white tulle, with taffeta bodice trimmed with diamante, and her nosy of pastel-shaded flowers with silver streamers. She carried a blue velvet evening enpe.
Miss Naomi Craine, daughter of ATr and ATrs T. E. Craine. ehose a ATictorinn picture frock of ivory taffeta and net in alternate bands, out on Empire lines, a V neck and off-the-shonlder sleeve providing old-world charm. Her posy was of gem dahlias and tiger-lilies. ATrs Craine wore a model frock of’ floral brocade. Ar iss Alary French, daughter of Airs F, Al. French, of Cunninghams, wore white lace and taffeta., her posv being of pink rosebuds and maidenhair fern. Aliss Afargaret. Parkes. daughter of Mr and Airs S. A. Parkes, of Feilding. wore a frock of silver hailstone chiffon. the bodice of lame brine; trimmed with white marabout. Her wrap was of fur fabric, and she carried a fragrant posy.
