JERSEY CATTLE BREEDERS.
In addition to affording farmers with exceptional educational opportunities, the annual field days of the Manawatu Jersey Cattle Breeders’ Club furnish a ready means for the interchange of viewpoints regarding the various problems that beset th- dairying industry. This year’s field daywill be held at Mr A. Montgomerie's farm, Kauwbata, on Saturday, April 1, commencing at 12.30 p.m. The programme will include a demonstration on Jersey cattle by the successful Taranaki breeder and judge, Mr S. G. Morgan (Mangatoki), while another interesting and instructive oddreje entitled “Genetics in Breeding and Animal Husbandry” will be delivered by Dr. E. Marsden, secretary of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Reseaxeh.
