FRANCE’S POSITION
Received March 24, 11 a.m. PARIS, March 23. France has informed Burgos that she is at present unable to hand over the Republican Fleet which is interned at Bizerta. Moreover, because she wxis still a party to non-intervention she could not hand over the war materials surrendered by refugee Republicans.
