COMING-OF-AGE.
A pleasant little party was given at. tho residence of Mrs It. AValker, Willis Street, on Wednesday evening in honour of the 21st birthday of her son, Air R. Bresnehan. The drawingroom was prettily decorated with sweet peas and greenery, and about 30 guests were received by Airs Walker, who wore a navy georgette frock, relieved with white.
Singing and games passed the time pleasantly, and an enjoyable supper was served, the table being decorated with sweet peas and centred by the handsome birthday cake. Mr L. Bresnehan, of Rnetihi. handed a gold key to his brother, congratulating him on his coming-of-age, and expressing the good wishes of those present.
