WOMEN’S CRICKET.
TEAAI TO PLAY NAPIER,
To-morrow afternoon, a team of Napier women cricketers will visit Palmerston North to play a return match against the Kowhai Club at Hokowhitu Park. In the match at Napier Kowhai were defeated, and as they aro keen to even the score tomorrow, a good game is anticipated. The teams are as follow : Palmerston North.—Misses o. Heath (captain), B. Hickcn (vice-captain), tian, K. Scales, L. Dalton, I. Christian, K. Scales, L. Dalton, J. Christian, D. Jeffree, C. Millar, D. Hall, J. Healey (emergency). Napier.—Misses C. Fcrnandos (captain), T Josephs t vice-captain), O. Christie, M. Kelly. N Nelson, J.Farquhar, N. Col will. G Smith, M. Webster, P. Chapman, H. Dyer. VISIT TO DOMINION. Received March 24, 8.5 am. LONDON, March 23. A team of English women cricketers which will visit Australia will also visit New Zealand.'
