ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT.
ON FORMER CHINESE PREMIER. Received March 22, 8.5 a.m. HANOI, March 21. An unsuccessful attempt to assassinate, in his own home, Air AA’ang Cliing-wei, the former Chinese Premier who was expelled by Marshal Chiang Kai-shek for irregular peace negotiations, was made by ail armed trio. They wounded a former A’iceM inistcr for Railways, Mr Tseng Chung-ming, and his wife.
