MARKET STILL QUIET. MODERATE TURNOVER. There was little change in the Wellington share market vestcrda.y. The demand was very quiet and the turnover moderate. Bank shares were, quiet with National of New Zealand firm and New Zealand inclined to be easier. Chain stores were easier, Wool worths, bid., selling at 23s and 22s 6d, while buyers of Woolworths (N.Z.) were back to 16s 6d. Australian shares generally were quiet with little demand.
