THE PIMA MYSTERY.
SEARCH FOR G. R. AIc.KAY. The New Zealand police are continuing their search for Gordon Robert McKay, aged 43, the Australian hides and skin merchant, who has been missing since the early morning lire which destroyed a bach at Pina on Leuruary 12. Widespread inquiries have been made throughout the Dominion, but so far they have elicited nothing which might indicate McKay’s whereabouts, states the New Zealand Herald. Since February 16, when the Auckland police lieai'd that AlcKay was insured for approximately £50.000, De-tective-Sergeants J. Trewethev and E. N. Aplin have been busily engaged with inquiries into various aspects of the case, but from all accounts it would appear that their assignment will not have been completed lor another week at least.
