GRAMOPHONE GROUP OPENS. A pleasant and instructive evening was spent by members of the gramophone group of the British Music Society at their opening meeting, held at the homo of the president (I)r F. H. McDowall, of Worcester Street), last night. The programme consisted of the following records:—Beethoven Quartets (opus 127 and opus 130), Wagner's “Valkyries.” Beethoven's Emperor Concerto, and German folk songs sung by llichard Tauber.
