SCOUTS FROM OVERSEAS.

INTEREST IN JAMBOREE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. Many overseas inquiries have been received by the organisers of the Centennial Boy Scout Jamboree, and it is certain that the 6000 boys who will meet under canvas at Heretaunga in December will include representatives of many nationalities. The leader of the jamboree team. Mr J. E. F. Vogel, has received a letter from Dr F. M. de Molnar, of Sydney, stating that he will in all probability represent the Hungarian Boy Scouts Association at tile jamboree. While school terms will prevent any Hungarian boys attending, a number of Rovers are likely to come from that country. Three or four, including a young chemical engineer and a farmer, both well-educated and of good middle-class families, are anxious to settle in New Zealand after the jamboree, if Government permits can be obtained. Another letter is from Dr W. E. M. O. Hamilton, scoutmaster of the Andre-de-Thaye troop, Maastrich, Holland, who is anxious to bring a troop for the camp, if it is possible. Dr Hamilton expressed anxiety at the prospect of camping in December, the Dutch mid-winter, and inquired as to the gear it would be necessary to bring. The jamboree organisers, however. reassured him as to the rigours of the climate, and are hoping that the Dutch boys will find it possible to attend.
