METHODIST CHURCH.

NEW YOUTH POLICY

Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 20. The new policy for youth work, involving the appointment of three directors instead of one as previously, and allowing for more concentrated work in Sunday school and Bible class interests throughout the Dominion, was adopted by the New Zealand Methodist Conference to-day. The 'Home Mission Department’s report stated that some circuits and stations had not restored ministers’ stipends to the pre-cut level, also travelling arrangements often rested unduly heavily on ministers. The first draft of changes to existing appointments of home _ missionaries was adopted. The list is subject to alteration later. Revs. O. E. Burton. C. L. Duder, L. G. Hanna, C. T. J. Luxton, W. A. Mills, and A. R. Witheford wore ordained at an impressive service this evening. Tile president (Rev. Angus Mcßean) conducted the service, the past president, Rev. P. R. Paris delivering the ordination charge.
