With a view to bringing the amenities of Palmerston North before the numerous overseas visitors to the Centennial Exhibition, next year, the Palmerston North City Council decided, at its meeting last evening, to place the sum of £2OO on the estimates for the ensuing year to cover the cost of preparation of a handbook of the city and district for distribution at the Exhibition.
