LAMB EASIER. The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London office as at the close of business last week : —The market for hoavy wethers is weaker; lightweights remain steady. There is a moderate demand for ewes. The demand for lambs is moderate and the market is rather easier. The market for chilled beef is rather easier. Wethers, light, 3Jd to 5d a lb; heavy, to 3Jd. Ewes, 2d to 3d. Lambs, 2’6, 7RI to 7 3-8 d; B’s, 7-Jd to 7 3-8 d ; 4’s, 7d to 7 l-8d; seconds, 7 l-8d to 7gd. Chilled hinds, 5 l-8d to sjd ; fore 3, 3 3-8 dto 3 5-Bd.
