BOWLING.
SMITHERS CUP MATCH. FEILDING v. OROUA. Tlio Foil ding and Oroua Bowling Clubs were engaged in a match lor the Smithers Cup on Saturday afternoon, when Oroua (the holders) lost possession of the trophy. The Feilding Club scored 128 points to Oroun’s 97. Mr C. Hniismann, president of the Oroua Club, congratulated the Feilding Club on its victory and intimated to Mr A. Murch who accepted the trophy on iKiluilf of the winners, that the Oroua bowlers would challenge for the cup in the spring. Mr Mureh suitably responded and thanked the Feilding players lor the enjoyable match.
