MELODY DANCE CLUB.
On Wednesday evening another successful function was added to the series of the Melody Dance Club’s old-time and modern dances, as held in the Cosmopolitan Hall. A very cheery atmosphere prevailed amongst the large number attending this everpopular dance, due to the organiser’s (Miss W. R. Hubbard) thoroughness and attention to every detail, several regular patrons having motored long distances for the occasion. This dance having become so well-known and largely attended, it is found necessary by special request to have seats reserved. A novelty item on the dance programme was a twilight fox-trot; this was very effectively carried out and most enthusiastically encored. The professional orchestra rendered the musical in its usual efficient style. A dainty a.nd bountful supper was served by the gentlemen’s committee in their usual courteous and attentive manner. Much credit is due to Mr W. Jordan for his careful supervision as M.C. A special announcement, is fully advertised elsewhere in this issue for a novelty mystery dance to be held hv the Melody Dance Club on Tuesday quite unique, and will cause much deevening. This novelty is something light to all.
Heat marks on plates can he completely removed by rubbing with a cork dipped in salt. Dampen the salt and rub well.
