DAHLIA SHOW.
MUSICAL PROGRAMME. In connection with the Dahlia Show on Saturday evening, a sextet of musicians (Mr Gough violin, Mr F. Piper clarionet, Mr Million flute, Mr Lester .cornet, Mr J. R. Wingate ‘cello, and Mr W. Leet bass-viol) rendored enjoyable musical items. The programme was:—“Moonlight Serenade,” wtili cornet solo by Mr Lester; “Moment Musical”; “Hungarian Dance”; “Marja,” Polish dance; “Thoughts of Yguth” and “Harbour of Dreams,” waltzes; “Rose Dance.” gavotte; “Golden Rod,” novelette; also the marches, “True Blue.” “Glee Club,” “Allegiance,” “Cavalry Charge,” “Sky Bird” and “March Along.” The sextet, was arranged by Mr Willgate and Mr Galland voiced the appreciation of the society for giving its services which, he said, were greatly appreciated by all.
