LARGER ARMY.
EIRE GOVERNMENT PLANS. DUBLIN, Feb. 16. The Government has decided on a yearly capital expenditure of £5,500,000 on equipment for defence and stores.
It is intended to raise the army’s present strength of 21,000 men to 30,000, and to organise a defensive air force, anti-aircraft, and minesweeper sendees, and air and land coastal military patrols.
