EARLIER MEETINGS.
PROGRESS OF DISCUSSIONS. (British Official Wireless.) Received Februarv 17, 8.5 a.m. RUGBY, Feb. 15. A meeting between the Government and the Palestine delegation to-day agreed that a committee of the conference should be set up to consider in greater detail some of the points raised regarding the McMahon correspondence. There was also a meeting of the Jewish .and United Kingdom representatives to-day, and it is hoped that it will be possible very shortly to deal with these discussions with some detailed aspects of the Palestine problem, such as immigration, land sales and constitutional matters as they interest the Jews.
