LORD NUFFIELD.
TO VISIT PALMERSTON NORTH. The noted industrial figure and philanthropist, Lord Nuffield, in the course of his present brief stay in the Dominion. is to visit Palmerston North. Yesterday afternoon the Mayor (Mr A. E. Mansford), on behalf of the citizens of Palmerston North, extended through Sir Charles Norwood, an invitation to Lord Nuffield to visit the citv, and to-day received a reply that he" lias accepted. The visit will he paid on March 7. It is intended to accord the visitor a civic reception.
