! e There was little doing in a feature,s less market on the Wellington Stock 10 Exchange yesterday. Trading was extremely restricted, and a small tnrn- ,, over was recorded. Government loans were in good demand, but quotations for several issues were lower and there . was an entire absence of sellers. Bank shares were dull, with an easier trend. Buyers were in for Australast. ias at .£9 3s, sellers asking £9 10s 6d. a, Commercial of Australia preference : eased to £9 Bs, the ordinaries being unchanged at 15s Bd. New Zealand r : were wanted at 395, sellers asking 39s ; 6d. Dalgety were available at £7 14s ! 6d. Gear Meat firmed 3d to 13s. liudrj dart Parker ordinaries were firm at [. 525.
