SUNSHINE CLUB.
PICNIC AT ESPLANADE. The Sunshine Club have resumed their pleasant social afternoons, and the monthly meeting yesterday took the form of a picnic tit the Esplanade. The sun evidently considered itself natron of the club, and generouslyhonoured it with its presence, so that conditions were ideal for such an outing. Airs E. Doherty (president) spoke a few words of welcome to the members. A croquet competition was W. H. Boon van bo+h the chain-sTep-•m by Mrs W. R. Bigham, and Airs ping and string competitions.
