BOWLING.
WELLINGTON v. MANAWATU. Arrangements have been completed for the annual visit of the Manawatu Centre to AA T ellingt<pn on Wednesday next, the 22nd inst. Palmerston North and adjacent clubs will travel by tho Limited express and a special carriage has been arranged for. In the morning at 10 o’clock the Manawatu players will divide and play friendly games with AVellington, Lyall Bay, Island Bay. Thorndon and Victoria. Four rinks will lie sent to each green, and cars will meet the Limited express at 9.30 a.m. to take players to their destination. In the afternoon 16 rinks will play on the Wellington green and four on Victoria. Play will commence at 2.30 p.m. The following clubs will participate in the visit: —Northern. Hokowhitu, Manawatu. Takaro, Feilding. Oroua, Bulls, Levin Central, Shannon and Woodville (one rink each). Terrace End and Foxton (two rinks each), Palmerston North (six rinks). The Limited I express leaves Palmerston North at 7.4 a.m.
