WOODVILLE & DISTRICT
HOME GARDENS CLUB. RESULTS OF JUDGING. The Woodville District High School is a sub-section of the Southern Hawke’s Bay Home Gardens Club and final judging for the latter’s competition took place on Wednesday. The judges were Messrs E. Hurdsfield and R. Hurdle. Considering the adverse season, the results were very pleasing, the three placed plots being very little inferior to those of last- year. The competition will be closed when district judging has been concluded and a selection of the vegetables from these plots exhibited at the forthcoming M’oodville Horticultural Show. Certificates of proficiency were awarded to all competitors with __ 60 marks or more, as follow: —A. Keay 90pts. (possible 100) 1, J. M’ilks 86 2, I. M’atkins 85-1 3. P. Stanborough 85 4. F.
