Lively Lady, Sanciful and Myarion, the latter two of whom arc trained at Awapuni. Gayest Son is the full-brother to Gay Son, and, like his relative, he will race in the jacket of his breeder, Mr A. F. Byrnes. Much interest will bo taken in the lirst api>earunec of this colt. Lively Lady is another ol ill* C. T. lveeble’s horses. She is a chestnut filly by Lackliam, who has liecn such a good sire for this owner, and her dam is the Gainseourt —Bon Marche mare Courtesan, a full-sister to Red Rufus. who never raced herself. This is the family that has produced such excellent performers for Mr Kccble or his previous trainer, If. E. Russell, ns Mala, Brown Betty, Beacon Fire, Gipsy Love, and others. Sanciful is one of Mr T. A. Duncan’s team under the ease of L. G. Morris. She is a brown filly by Foxbridge out of the Day Comet- —Poreis ina.ro Fantastic, a half-sister to Lady Lois, Tualiine, Royal Duke, Nucleus (dam of Gay Circle), Persham, and others. ' Myarion is a bay daughter of the Phalaris horse Myosotis, who has recently had his first winner in Moorsotis. Her dam is the Martarma —Lady Desmond marc Miss Martarma. a half-sister, to the Wellington Steeplechase winner Diamond, and descending from the same line as Voilmond, Smoke Screen, Rational, and others. She was bought at Iho national tales last year for 120 guineas by Mr J. B. Bradley, of Feilding.
