GUNS AT GIBRALTAR.
Received February 16, 10.35 a.in. LONDON, Feb. 15. lit. Hon. Sir Stanley Harrington, addressing the Empire Society, said . “I don’t believe General Franco installed guns with hostility against Gibraltar. There were never more -than four twelve-inch howitzers and these were removed, months since. ’ He added that during the crisis there were four anti-aircraft guns at Gibraltar, but things were vastly different now.
