Present spot quotations are : —Mutton : Fine, 24s i 6d to 255; good, 21s to 21s 6d; fair, 16s 6d to 17s. Beef: Fine, 21s to 21s 6d ; good. 13s; fair. 16s to 16s 6d. Mixed; I Good, 18s- fair, 10s to 16s 6d ; gut, 14s to 1 15s 6d. Mutton, dark to dull, 15s to 16s ! 6d; beef,, dark to dull, 14s to 15s 6d. Ilemp.—Manila Market quiet and cas- . ior; shippers offer “K” grade down to ! £lB 15s, up to March-May shipment. Sisal market steady. No. 1 neglected; closing value £l7 sellers, but more ini quiry for No. 2. New Zealand; Conditions remain the same; small lots common sold £lB ss. Apples and Pears. —Good demand continues in some instances. Prices have advanced. British Columbia Newtowns, 9s 6d to 11s; British Columbia Delicious, 9s to 10s; Californian Winter Nolis, 9s 6d to 10s; Californian Beurre Bose, 11s 6d to 12s.
