INFORMATION IN GUIDE

The distribution of 20,000,000 copies of the National Service Guide containing information regarding the various services open to men and women of all ages will begin on Wednesday. Nine firms were engaged in the production of the guide, which is of 56 pages. Up to 1525 tons of paper wee used. Sir Auckland Geddas (Assistant to the Lord Privy Seal), commenting on the guide, said: “We are now living on the frontier. In all wars hitherto wo have been protected by the Fleet. Now, owing to the air peril, we might well be part of the Continent. We must, therefore, he ready to meet the first blow.”
