In the junior cricket matches on Saturday Public Service B won from High School on the first innings, the scores being: Public Service, first innings. 139; High School, first innings, 122: second 181. In the other junior game Vnion defeated Old Boys B. Vnion made 120 in their first innings and 78 in their second, while Old Boys replied with 74 and 119. T. A. James, in fielding for Nomads in their cricket match with Feilding. suffered a painful injury when, in trying to take a catch from Fitzpatrick, the sun dazzled him and the ball struck him on his riglTt cheek, inflicting a cut which required medical aticntion.
