INTE B-HO USE CH A M PION SHIPS,
A feature of tho physical drill competition at the North Island business girls’ inter-house championships, held at McLean Park, Na/,ier, on Saturday, was the splendid exhibition given by tho P.D.C. (Palmerston North) team. The judge (Mr W. S. Ferguson, ot Wellington) congratulated the captains of all competing teams on the high standard displayed throughout the programme, which was one of the most spectacular presentations of the kind ever seen in Napier. The Florence Harvey Cup for marching and drill was retained by Bestall’s, Ltd. team (Napier), P.D.C. (Palmerston North) being sixth. Fitzmauricc and Butler’s team (Gisborne) won the Cherry Harvey Cup for sports and P.D.C. were placed seventh in this event. Ale ml airs of visiting teams were entertained by the Napier girls at a picnic yesterday.
