AUSTRALIAN ATHLETES
PROBABLE VISIT. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 23. “Though final arrangements have not been made, it seems certain that twelve athletes, also a rowing eight and perhaps swimmers from various Australian Universities, will tour New Zealand during the centennial year,” said Mr Eric Halstead,, a former president of the Auckland University Students’ Association, who returned to-day. He said the Australians would pay their own expenses, but New Zealand students would provide billets.
