WELLINGTON QUOTATIONS.
Sheepskins sold at cheaper prices at the sales tick) yesterday by tho Wellington brokers. There was good competition for hides. HeaVics were unchanged, hut cow and light to medium were cheaper. Sheepskins.—Since the previous sale the market lias shown a further decline and prices yesterday were generally |d to 3d a lb lower than last sale’s rates. Hides. —Competition was fairly keen hut prices for light ox and cow were to |d lower; heavies sold at par, yearling and kip wet-0 -jd to gd higher, with caff unchanged. Tallow sold at slightly lower prices. Tho range of prices is as follows: Dry sheepskins.—Halfhred, sid to 63d; fine crossbred, 6d to 63d; medium crossbred; 6d to 63d; coarse erosbred, 6d to 6id ; half-wools, 5d to 6H : quarter-wools, 33d to sjd; pelts, 2?d to 3|d. Hides.—Ox, 33!b to 441 b, 4d to sld; 451 b to 521 b, 4-jd to bid; 531 b to 591 b, 5d to 6|d; 601 bto 691 b, to 6§d; 701 b and over, to Cow, 331 b to 391 b, 4jd to sjd;4olb to 48lb, 4d to sid : 491 to and over. 33d to sj(l. Kill, 251 b to 321 b, 4jd to 6d ; 171 b to 241 b, 4jd to 7ad. Yearling, 111 b to 161 b, 5d to BRI. Calf, 91b to 101 b, 6jd to 83d; 61 h to 81b, 6id to lOJd; lib to 51b, 7d to 103 d.
