GIRL GUIDES.
CAMP AT KIMBOLTON. A number of Palmerston North district Girl Guides attended a camp at London s Ford, Kimbolton, which concluded on Thursday. Twenty-two girls from St. Paul’s and All Saints’ companies were in camp lor the first week, and about 15 from Takaro and Shannon during the second week. In spite of bad weather, particularly during the second period, the Guides thoroughly enjoyed themselves, the time being occupied in bathing and hikes and campfire evenings. A fancy dress party was held on Tuesday night, the winners bo ing Mary Powell and Eda Hunt, of Rongotea. A concert, comprising plays, songs, recitations and other items eoneluded the holiday on AVednesday night.
