Bov. Father M. J. Burke. S.M., lias been appointed vice-rector of St. Bedels College, Christchurch, succeeding Tiev. Eat her A. Cullen, S.M.,who Inis been transferred as parish priest: at Glenlyon, Brisbane. Mr K. J. Thomas, a former representative Auckland Bughy player aiid a resident of Wellington for the past seven months, leaves to-night for London on exchange to the High Commissioner's Office. He will be absent tor a year.—Press Association.
