BOMBINGS IN ENGLAND.

UNION AGENT'S VIEW. Received January 21. 1.30 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 20. Sir Wilson Hungerford (Chief Unionist Agent in Northern Ireland and M.P. for Oldpark Division of Belfast in the Parliament of Northern Ireland) stated that he would not ho surprised if there wore more bombings throughout Britain. Sir Wilson expressed the opinion that the interning of the 34 men oil Sunday had saved Ulster Dorn a major catastrophe. The incidents in England had proved that the activities o' flic organisations .were widespread.

Sir Dawson Bates (ioint-sccretarv of the Ulster Unionist Council) visited the Home Office to-day and discussed the bombings. He was provided with a bodyguard while in London.
