CAPT. WIEDEMANN FOR U.S. Received January 21. 1.0 p.m. BERLIN. Jan. 20. Captain Wiedemann (Herr Hitler’s aide-de-camp) has been appointed Con-sul-General in San Francisco. Captain Wiedemann was prominent during the crisis over Czechoslovakia, several times visiting London on liehalf of Herr Hitler. He is stated to lie a close confrere -of the Fuehrer’s and one in whom he has great confidence.
