DECISION OF AUTHORITY. Official information to the effect that he did not intend interfering with the existing transport arrangements serving the Ap.it i and Rangiwahia districts was received yesterday from No. 2 Licensing Authority (Mr P. Skoglund). This follows the recent hearing before tho Licensing Authority at Feilding of the representations of the farmers of the district who opposed the application of the local branch of the Road Transport Alliance that the new schedule for the carriage of general merchandise should apply to these districts.

It was indicated in the communication received in Feilding that the position would be considered again after March 31 next.
