CRICKET.
COMPETITION GAMES DISCUSSED. A meeting of the executive committee of the Feilding Cricket Association was held on Wednesday, there being present Messrs J. G. Eliott (president), W. Gleeson, J. E. Dewe. W. H; Smith, and T. L. Donaldson. It was decided that, providing the teams are available, the concluding match of the first round of the senior competition bo finalised on Saturday. No. 13 grade matches, however, are set down for this week.
Arrangements arc to be made with the Southern Hawke’s Bay Association for a match at Dannevirke early in the new year, and with the Marton Association for a game at the end of January.
Tbe Feilding Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was granted permission to use Kovliai Park for an electric light sports meeting at the end of January.
