OIL SHARES ACTIVE. SYDNEY, Aug. 26. There was no outstanding feature on the Sydney Stock Exchange to-day beyond a lively demand for Oil Search shares, which moved up from 8s 3d to 8s 9d. Taranaki also advanced to 14s. Investors were not pressing to s6U, most bargaining being within narrow limits, resulting n all-round steadiness.
