RUGBY FOOTBALL
PRIMARY SCHOOLS. SUCCESS OF RANGITIKEI. The annual Rugby tournament between teams representing the Hutt Valley, Rangitikei, Horowhenua, and Taranaki primary schools, was concluded 011 the Lower Hutt Recreation Ground. Rangitikei were the winners, this being their first success in the series. In the final matches Taranaki heat Hutt Valley, 26—-11, and Rangitikei beat Horowhenua, 16 —3. The most prominent players for Rangitikei throughout the tournament were Stantial] and Haitana in the fiveeighth positions, who at times reached brilliant heights.
