SOUTH AFRICAN ANTHEMS.
PREMIER’S ACTION ENDORSED. CAPETOWN, Aug. 25. After an all-night sitting, the Assembly, on the resumption of the debate on the National Anthems endorsed Genera] Hertzog’s declaration that “the Union does not possess an official anthem until the English and Afrikaans communities have agreed to an appropriate one. Meanwhile, ‘God Save the King’ and ‘Die Stem’ are played on all occasions under Government auspices.’’
