SUCCUMBED TO WOUNDS.
COMMISSIONER AT JENIN. JERUSALEM, Aug. 25. The Assistant-Commissioner at Jenin (Air W. S. Moffatt) has succumbed to his wounds. A hunchback Arab has since been identified as the murderer of Mr Moffatt. He was fatally shot in attempting to escape from a military camp. Mr Moffatt was wounded by a terrorist entering his office and firing, at point blank range, six bullets which entered his body.
