~ln recognition of his 14 years' service as provincial president of the Southern Hawke's Bay Farmers' "Union the "executive of that body made a presentation to Mr J. Livingston. Mr Livingston, he said, could have carried on for many years, but had felt that the position should go round. Mrs Barker (on behalf of the. W.D.F.U.) and Messrs J. W. Murray and L.
